This is a conceptual design proposal for a structural system that could become the basis for a wind park visitor’s center, or for a large public pavilion. The outer perimeter of the structure consists of a large domed space covered with wind turbines. Each turbine rotates in the wind in different directions and at different speeds. As the turbines rotate they generate electricity, which is stored for use at night to illuminate the space.

The hemispherical shape of the structure conceptually relates to the shape of the earth. The patterns of movement of the wind turbines symbolically refers to the patterns of wind that encircle the real earth.

If the structure is enclosed it would be constructed over a glass and steel dome, which is shaded by the wind turbines.
