This is a special retreat designed to stimulate creativity in the

minds of whomever encounter it.

If the Segmented Interactive Pavilion is used outdoors, it would be made of painted metal. If it is used indoors, it would be made of painted wood. Each of the eight segments can be rotated around an open center core space, which is equipped with a surrounding bench. When six of the eight segments are aligned into a symmetrical arrangement, a doorway into the structure is formed. After entering the cylindrical space, this doorway can be fragmented as it is shifted around the perimeter of the pavilion in many different combinations. In this way, the doorway can become six different windows that can be located anywhere around the perimeter of the structure. When this is done, the shape of the pavilion is also continually changed.
