This  design for a back yard Retreat, Garden House, Studio, Office, and or Guest house, is a modular structure that can be various sizes and shapes, and made of various types of materials such as wood, metal, cement composites, etc. Since it is a modular design, other units can be added on to expand the existing space. It can be completely enclosed from the weather and or completely opened, or somewhere in between. The slated panels that surround the support frame can be moved up and down along tracks from the inside to form many different patterns, which in turn change the shape of the structure. This can also be done in order to control solar heat and or light levels, as well as airflow through the structure.

These structures are designed to be prefabricated, so that they can be assembled onto almost any site, with a minimal amount of disruption to the surrounding landscape.
